Logic BMS Revival · The Platform

One platform, every vertical

The idea Logic BMS was founded on in 2017 — your data, tasks, and resources together on one open platform you own — is no longer a heritage story. It ships today as ERPAL, a ground-up Drupal 11 rebuild, built and operated by Lucky Duck Productions.

The Platform

ERPAL Core: the open foundation.

ERPAL Core is the industry-agnostic base: organizations, contacts, leads, deals, activities, dashboards, and a full API — self-hosted on open source, with every piece of configuration in version-controlled code so a deployment is reproducible, auditable, and yours.

The original ERPAL answered "what is a project?" with "anything you want it to be" — a load of freight, a piece of equipment, a client engagement. That flexible-model philosophy is the heart of the rebuild: one core, configured per industry, instead of a dozen disconnected apps.

Credit: the original ERPAL for Service Providers (2012) and ERPAL Platform (2014) were created by Bright Solutions GmbH and their maintainer community on Drupal 7, released under the GPL — the open license the revival honors. They built the foundation; Lucky Duck revived and modernized it. Full story →

On the Roadmap

The marketplace hub.

The boldest Logic BMS idea — the LoadsPro freight board — points at where the platform goes next: connected client deployments optionally syncing to a shared marketplace hub, where producers post commodities, buyers see transportation options, and carriers and shippers negotiate loads in real time.

That marketplace layer is roadmap, not product — we say so plainly. The per-business platform underneath it is what's live today, and it's built so the hub can grow out of it.

Open Source

Giving the core back.

ERPAL began as open source, and our intent is to return it there: a stable ERPAL Core release candidate contributed to the Drupal community via drupal.org for open review and community development.

We're hardening the core and working through the community's project and security-review processes first — no promised dates. Until then, ERPAL is available through Lucky Duck's managed deployments.

Built & Operated by Lucky Duck

The vision finally has its platform.

Logic BMS planted the seed; Lucky Duck Productions grew it into a platform that runs real businesses — including our own. If you want your operations on technology you own, that conversation starts here.
